Women's lacrosse wins back-to-back A-10 titles

Spider Pride
Our lacrosse teams have been on a winning streak this year — and last weekend added to the excitement as our women’s team took home its second-straight Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament title.
The Spiders trailed by six goals in the second half, but tied it up with four seconds left in the game — ultimately beating the top-seeded Massachusetts with a 19-18 victory.
“The motivating factor was that we knew what it felt like to win. That’s really important, to know that feeling,” Coach Allison Kwolek said in an article about the win. “[Last year’s title] was definitely a factor, for sure.”
With the win, the Spiders set a new program single-season wins record and will make their fifth appearance in the NCAA tournament.
Congratulations, Spiders!
