Winning is nothing new to our lacrosse teams, and after last weekend, we have even more to celebrate. Despite the dreary weather, our men’s lacrosse team beat No. 6 Notre Dame — quickly catapulting the Spiders into the national rankings. 

We’ve now staked claim to the No. 11 spot in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse poll (the highest national ranking in program history!), No. 14 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, and No. 16 in the USILA Coaches Poll. Not only was the victory the fifth all-time over a nationally ranked opponent, but Notre Dame is the highest-ranked team of all time to fall to the Spiders.
