Our penchant for earning prestigious Fulbright scholarships is pretty well known — we surpass records and continually grow our list of both faculty and student recipients.

Now, once again, we’ve received a national shout-out for being one of only 20 U.S. institutions to be named a top Fulbright producer for 2019–20. In addition to four students — all now recent alums — who received Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships, we’re also celebrating our biology department’s Amy Treonis and her research stint in Africa and International Education Dean Martha Merritt and her seminar in Japan.

“The Fulbright program provides an opportunity for our faculty and students to share their talents with others around the world and to bring the global perspectives they develop back to our campus,” President Crutcher said.

Congratulations to all!
