UR Museums curator selected to lead national arts organization

Leaders can be found no matter where you look around Richmond’s campus. Their expertise garners grants and they are oftentimes resources for media outlets, national organizations, and more.

A recent example is Elizabeth Schlatter, our deputy director and curator of exhibitions for the University of Richmond Museums, who has been tapped as the new president of the College Art Association’s board of directors. A museum administrator, curator, and writer, she focuses on modern and contemporary art and has curated more than 20 exhibitions at UR. Her two-year term begins in May 2020.
