Professors' expertise shines in nationwide program

Spider Pride

We love it when our professors are highlighted for their deep expertise in a chosen topic — so you can imagine our excitement when not just one, but five (!), were featured during The Academic Minute, a program broadcasted on radio stations nationwide and posted on Inside Higher Ed.

Our star Spiders included astrophysicist Jack Singal, political science professor Monti Datta, environmental journalist Steve Nash, psychologist Camilla Nonterah, and math professor Della Dumbaugh, with research topics ranging from moon landings to national parks.

The program was produced by WAMC Northeast Public Radio in partnership with the Association of American Colleges & Universities. We’re so proud University of Richmond Week enabled our faculty to widely share their expertise with others!
