Spiders are already starting to spin their webs across campus and we are excited to show the newest class the ropes — even though they may be the ones teaching us a thing or two.

Our 800+ first years are from one of the strongest (and largest!) applicant pools in our history — coming from the top 10th percentile of SAT scores nationwide with an average 3.63 GPA on a 4.00 scale. We’re welcoming 114 first-generation students and 8% of the class hails from 27 countries — and that’s just the beginning.

“The class of 2023 includes a phone accessory patent holder, a clarinetist who has performed at Carnegie Hall, a five-time national champion rock climber, and a paperie owner who donates all profits to charity,” said Gil Villanueva, associate vice president and dean of admission. “These talented students are already highly accomplished, and we are excited to see what they will achieve next.”
