We are proud of our Spider community’s commitment to giving back — in fact, it’s a common characteristic found within our students, faculty, and alums near and far.

Entrepreneur and restaurateur, Christopher Bollenbach, R’89, owns the popular Bottega Louie in Los Angeles, but also has a “philanthropically oriented” mindset. His dedication to giving back is shown through his commitment to Face Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to providing reconstructive surgery and emotional support to domestic violence survivors, along with the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, the Academy of Business Leadership, and serving as chairman of the Bollenbach Family Scholarship Fund.

“I was provided with so many advantages growing up, and what I learned at that age in my life was invaluable,” Bollenbach said. “I now have a duty to turn around and provide my time, effort, and money to help others who are less fortunate.”

We're honored to be part of a network devoted to providing service to others!
