We’re proud to be a place that offers incredible opportunities to our hardworking students who are always setting their sights on the future. The latest news in this department is Sabrina Escobar Miranda, ’19, who is the first alum in the Jepson Scholars Program — launched for leadership studies grads who are accepted into a one-year master’s program at England’s University of Oxford.

“Our students already have the benefit of a world-class undergraduate education,” Jepson School Dean Sandra Peart said. “Combined with a world-class graduate education opportunity, Jepson Scholars will be exceptionally well prepared to lead at home and abroad.”

Miranda plans to use her scholarship this fall to better understand her native country of El Salvador, focusing her research on the nonprofit sector or gender violence in the country.

Congratulations, Sabrina!
