It’s that time of year again! (If you need a quick reminder, March 14 = National Spider Day = our favorite holiday). And this time, we’re starting early to maximize opportunities for you to show off your #SpiderPride.

Starting today with the day we became official — March 4 aka Founder’s Day — and running for 10 days through National Spider Day, we’re reflecting on everything it means to be a part of the fantastic web we’ve woven for ourselves over the years.

You’ll notice a little more pride on our social channels as we embrace our unique mascot and share our Spider Pride. Across campus, we’re celebrating with our entire community leading up to the big day on March 14, when we hope you’ll celebrate with us, too.

So, wherever you are in the world, break out that red and blue UR gear. Tell someone why Richmond is your favorite. Maybe do that simultaneously and send us a pic for our @urichmond channels (and don’t forget to tag it #SpiderPride)! However you want to celebrate, we’re here for it.
