We talk a lot about the sense of community that starts here on campus, yet encompasses all of our alumni around the world. Even though our class sizes may be small, the connections made between Spiders are powerful.

This was on display as we kicked off the new year with 19 members of the women’s lacrosse team gaining insight from a variety of alums spanning 1985 to 2018 in New York City. Our student-athletes were able to sit down with Spiders who have come before them at five different companies in the business, marketing, and financial industries.

“This trip provided such great exposure and insight into so many firms that have Richmond alumni," said junior Katie Vates. "You get a completely different perspective hearing from alumni and asking them questions about their work, rather than just reading and studying these types of businesses in the classroom."
