No matter where our alums land in the world, we know they’re destined to achieve great things in their careers. Péter Kerekes, ’95, who was recently named Coca-Cola Hungary’s country manager, is the perfect example of a Spider who is excelling in the global marketing industry.

"Over the course of my career, I’ve always worked on furthering the success of the most well-known brands, and I’ve been responsible for the performance of iconic domestic and global brands," Kerekes said in a news release announcing his appointment. "I’m very glad to join one of the leading companies of the world.”

While on campus, he studied international business and marketing in the b-school, and then completed graduate work in Hungary and Brazil. His experience has continued to expand with a range of companies in both domestic and international management positions, including serving as the European innovation lead for Unilever.

We are proud of Kerekes for his new position — and for representing Richmond in central Europe!
