Those who are destined to be Spiders share similar characteristics, including a work ethic that is engrained in all of their endeavors. In fact, that determination is a large contributing factor to their future career successes.

Over in Richmond Law, Nikita Bhojani, L’19, exemplifies that kind of ambitious spirit. In just two years, she has earned eight competitive scholarships. The applications are a time-intensive endeavor, but the first-generation college student is motivated to continue finding new opportunities. She said in a recent interview that she has gained more confidence with each scholarship she has won, and that her professors have been instrumental.

“Not having good references and not having good mentorships would not have allowed me to get scholarships,” Bhojani said.

In her spare time, she is also dedicated to community service and pro bono volunteering, which led to spearheading Richmond Law’s Legal Aid Food Frenzy efforts, a food and fund drive competition.
