Our alums are known for their drive and professional success — it’s something we take pride in, especially when our Spiders work diligently to continue learning and honing their skills throughout the world.  

The latest example is Yichi Zhang, ’13, who was recently included in Forbes China’s “30 Under 30” list. After majoring in international finance and marketing, he went on to receive a master’s degree in brand management and has since founded two companies. His latest venture in China provides customers with brand management consulting and marketing planning services. 

And — as if that weren’t enough — he’s also starting a UR alumni group in Beijing.

We’re proud that Zhang’s devotion to continuous exploration and innovation led to his being included among other young talent who are active in China’s economic life. Congratulations!
