It’s always exciting when you earn high marks from an outside organization, but it’s pretty exceptional when they come from your own alumni as well.

This week, “Poets&Quants for Undergrads,” a leading online publication for undergraduate business education news, unveiled its second annual Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2017 rankings, and our Robins School of Business ranked No. 21 — up six spots from last year.

The Poets&Quants ranking is based on a survey of more than 6,000 recent grads and school-reported data. Students across 82 schools were surveyed on aspects of admissions standards, academic experience, and employment placement.

Among the questions, alums were asked whether they would recommend the business program to a close friend or colleague. Ours gave the Robins School an A grade. They also gave the school an A for how well the program prepared them for the world of work. (Programs like our signature Q-Camp are designed to do just that.)

“The University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business continues to attract great students and provide them with a rigorous and well-rounded education in business, economics, and the liberal arts,” said Nancy Bagranoff, dean of the Robins School. “We prepare our students, through curricular and extra-curricular programs, to succeed and lead in the career of their choice.”

We’re so proud of this latest recognition for the Robins School — and to hear once again how much Spider alums value their time here.
