Holy cow, our tennis team is on fire this season! They're up to 12 straight wins, and scored their last two victories during some challenging weather conditions on the court.

Last weekend, they won two back-to-back matches against the Citadel, bringing their season record to a new best of 13-2.

"Our guys did a good job battling some tough conditions with the wind and really fought against a Citadel team who is always going to be scrappy led by Coach Kriese," Assistant Coach Jamie Morgan said. "We’re on a roll and playing with a lot of confidence, we’re excited about the opportunity to play one of the country’s best teams in UVA,” Morgan added.

We hope that momentum continues as the Spiders take on UVA in Charlottesville on April 18. If we prevail, it will be the second time this year the Spiders have taken down a defending national champ (men's lacrosse against UNC earlier this week). Last year, the Cavs won their third national NCAA title in four years.

Our next match is at home against Xavier this Saturday at noon. See you at the courts, Spiders!
